Although the fruits of this native plant are edible when fully ripe all other parts a quite toxic. But the chooks leave it alone and wait for the fruit to fall! I don't eat the fruit but have heard it makes a tasty chutney. Being related to tomatoes I guess that makes sense.

African Daisy - Osteospermum I started off with white and purple, All sorts of different colours are coming up now. They are tough plants over here; So tough that we now have warnings about them escaping from gardens. They seem to cause problems for stock animals, so I don't grow as many as I would like to.
As some of you thought No.30 was Rhubarb here is the real thing... Not a very red one. This one survives our heat better. But tastes just as good as the redder one that struggles in my garden. Grown in a tyre for winter warmth And shade for summer cooling!!!
Garlic Chives Allium tuberosum These little toughies survive our heat better than onion chives. Their leaves give a mild garlic flavour to foods. All parts are edible including leaves, flowers, bulbs and seed (sprouted).
