It hadn't even crossed my mind that the bales might sprout!
Perhaps Ninja is thinking about what to do about this development, where she might sleep tonight.
Ruth they've still have a lot of wheat in them that's why I usually put them in the chook run but these got too wet and mouldy so I'll compost them.
Annie she's got a nice warm box in her shed that she sleeps in! These bales were covered in ice last night. She's also found the new compost heap is nice and warm too.
