GrasshopperThis little guy and his mates sure do a lot of damage in my garden.
He isn't very big, that hose he's on is 6mm (less than quarter inch) drip tube.
That's a tiny onion seedling next to him!

I'd never thought of Grasshopers doing damage. I guess I'm lucky that I don't get enough to have to worry about it.
So that little thing is about a 1/4 inch long!!!Amazing how intricate they are....!
